Almuñécar, one of Spain’s oldest towns, sits along Granada province’s Costa Tropical, established by the Phoenicians around 800 BC. Groves of mangos, avocados, and custard apples flank twelve miles of Mediterranean coastline. The Castle of San Miguel and a Roman aqueduct anchor the Old Quarter, where winding streets climb inland from the shore.
The town sits 47 miles from Málaga, with its international airport, and 50 miles from Granada, home to the UNESCO World Heritage Alhambra palace—originally built in 889 AD and one of Spain’s most iconic landmarks.
This bijou duplex has an open-plan living area and integrated kitchen on the ground floor. Upstairs, the mezzanine level holds a double bedroom with sea views, and an en-suite bathroom. The property sits 15 minutes’ walk from the beach and promenade.
