What if I told you three days could change your life?
Three days. One room. The right people. That’s The Gathering XII in Panama City on March 12-14.
The closed-door meet-up where you can get face time with the developers, lawyers, and market insiders behind RETA’s off-market deals, plus focused briefings and relaxed, high-value networking. (The Gathering is for RETA Lifetime only, so if you’re not yet Lifetime, join now to ensure you get your invitation.)
Just 27 hours remain until seats go live tomorrow, August 27 at 1 p.m. ET…and, as usual I’m only releasing 250 seats.
I could add more but I resist this fiercely…
Panama City has risen to become a global hub of trade and finance and a safe haven for people and business. A few decades ago there were no high rises. Today, it’s among the fastest-growing skylines in the world. Come to The Gathering XII and you’ll see the results of the city’s remarkable growth.
The magic happens because I keep The Gathering small. Small enough to have real, unhurried conversations over coffee or a cocktail…big enough that the room is buzzing with ideas, leads, and contacts you can take home and put to work.
I’m always keen for The Gathering to be a full immersion in a key RETA market. It’s efficient: my contacts, my scouts, and all the latest deals from the global RETA beat, all under one roof—then hold it right in the heart of a red-hot market where the right move can truly deliver.
Attendees will be meeting at The Santa Maria Hotel & Golf Resort—the 5-star base for The Gathering XII. Just 15 minutes from Tocumen International Airport and minutes from downtown Panama City, it’s as easy to get to as it is luxurious to stay in.
Over three days in Panama City, you’ll not only meet the insiders I work with—you’ll have the chance to walk the neighborhoods, to tour projects, and see first-hand the opportunities taking shape on the ground.
Today, I want to let you know why attending is so worthwhile for you…why you should carve out the time to join me in Panama City.
There’s one reason above all else…
From the Santa Maria Hotel, you’re short uber rides from Panama City’s best—rooftop bars with skyline views, world-class restaurants, and the nightlife of Casco Viejo all await you.
At its core, RETA membership is about clubbing together to secure off-market pricing on the best real estate in the world.
Naturally, that makes deals the beating heart of The Gathering. And every year, RETA members walk away from The Gathering with opportunities worth far more than the trip’s cost—sometimes by six figures.
Every contact I invite is asked to come armed with a “bag full” of their latest finds—opportunities no one else has heard of yet, shared first with the people in the room.
These are early, often exclusive deals that simply don’t make it to the open market.
In recent years Gathering attendees would have been the first to hear about a whole host of deals. The kind of deals that make RETA unique, deals like these:
- On Portugal’s Algarve, in the historic town of Lagos, RETA members could buy two-bed condos in the luxury community of Adega for €375,000. In 2025, a condo available to RETA members at this price was sold for €600,000, an uplift of €225,000.
- In Spain, on the Costa del Sol, a RETA member who purchased a penthouse in the Albatross community in Casares for €327,000 in 2021 sold it in late 2023 for €550,000—securing gains of €223,000.
- In Cabo in 2022 RETA members could buy a two-bed condo in Monte Rocella. By January 2025, the developer’s retail list showed some large uplifts, including a unit which was available at a RETA price of $308,800, listing for $466,000. An uplift of $157,200.
RETA members who acted on deals in perfect-weather Cabo, Mexico have made like gangbusters from us being ahead here.
At every Gathering, we hold The Sneak Peek—where I get to unveil a superb new RETA-only deal in person, with first pick going to those in attendance.
It’s one of the most anticipated moments of the event…and one of the ways I make sure being in the room pays off.
Right now, it’s too early to give you the specifics of all the deals you’ll hear about at The Gathering XII in Panama City next March.
But I can tell you that if you don’t grab your seat just 27 hours from now—this Wednesday, August 27, at 1 p.m. ET—then you will miss out.
What I can say about the upcoming Gathering is that we’ll be getting a ringside seat on Panama opportunities. “Mr. Panama” himself, visionary developer Alfredo Aleman, is planning on bringing some “hot off the presses” just for The Gathering XII attendees.
Which, going by our track record in Panama, is a hugely exciting prospect.
Ocean Reef began as a vision few believed in, but developer Alfredo Aleman and his GLP Group did it…they built an ultra-prime community in the ocean, right next to the beating heart of Panama’s downtown. RETA members got in on deals here and are now sitting on major uplifts—as much as $212,000. And you can visit it in March by coming to The Gathering XII.
Big real estate and investment conferences can run $2,000 to $5,000 a ticket—before you even factor in meals, hotels, or the cost of getting face time with the people you actually want to meet.
You’ll pay nowhere near that much to attend The Gathering XII. Tickets are $550 per person. That’s it. That covers conference space rental, scheduled meals—cocktails, lunches, farewell dinner—and the logistics and event production.
Just $550 for three days packed with insider briefings, private deal intel, and the kind of networking most investors could only dream of.
When you come to Panama City for The Gathering, I suggest you allow for a few extra days to explore this incredible city and its surroundings. There’s so much to do and see. Start by walking the historic Casco Viejo area of Panama City.
The Gathering is for RETA Lifetime members.
But if that’s not you…or if you’re sitting there thinking it’s not for you…I want to tell you something.
Over the years, I’ve met plenty of members who felt exactly the same. They thought The Gathering was just for seasoned investors with a string of deals under their belt. They weren’t sure they’d fit in.
And yet, when they came, everything changed.
Panama ranks among the top 25 most biodiverse countries globally and has more bird species than all of North America combined. With stunning mountain scenery and temperatures averaging between 65 to 75°F year-round, Boquete in the cool-weather mountains of Chiriqui province is a great place to visit if you have a little extra time in Panama after The Gathering.
They met members who’d once been exactly where they were—curious, cautious, maybe even skeptical—and they heard their stories first-hand. They asked the questions they’d never get to ask anywhere else. They sat down with my team, scouts, the lawyers and developers I respect most.
If you want to see RETA in action…
If you want to meet the people behind the deals and the members already making them…
The Gathering is the best place to do it.
For The Gathering XII the closest airport is Tocumen international airport, code PTY, which is a 15-minute drive or so to the Santa Maria hotel where attendees will meet. Tocumen has direct flight connections across North America.
Don’t wait until you’ve made your first deal to join us—come, and make that deal happen sooner.
You’ll leave with clarity, confidence, and a network of friends you can call on long after we all flew home.
As I say, you must be a RETA Lifetime member to attend. If you’re already Lifetime, then stay tuned to your alerts tomorrow at 1 p.m. ET. If you’re not a RETA Lifetime Member, join now to ensure you get your invitation to The Gathering XII (plus enjoy a host of other benefits).
I hope to see you in Panama.
Wishing you good real estate investing,
P.S. We’ve got a phenomenal rate for the luxury 5-star hotel where I’m holding The Gathering, just $196 per night for a single person and $219 per night for two people sharing a room. The Santa Maria will be the epicenter of the action…where it all happens…so staying there is the best and most convenient way to get full benefit from The Gathering XII.
Last time I held The Gathering in the Grand Hyatt on the beach in Playa del Carmen (pictured.) In March we’ll be in Panama in the 5-star Santa Maria Hotel and Country Club.
