I’ve seen the far frontiers, traveling through pirate-infested waters in the Caribbean…walking remote coastlines inaccessible by road…surviving a dune buggy crash on the beaches of northeast Brazil…
And I’ve spent decades surveying the polished and the proven.
I’ve tracked the rise of Spain’s Costa del Sol and Portugal’s Algarve…gotten ahead in Cabo and Mexico’s Riviera Maya…and seen entire new districts—including man-made islands—rise from the Bay of Panama.
I haven’t done all this alone.
Over the decades, I’ve built a small, dedicated team. Today, my team and I spend more than $1 million per year on scouting and research. And collectively, we bring more than 100 years of real estate experience to the table.
In a world filled with online influencers and self-proclaimed experts, I don’t believe anyone can match my team’s knowledge and boots-on-the-ground experience.
For those unfamiliar with it, I founded my Real Estate Trend Alert (RETA) club in 2008 to bring together like-minded investors who recognize the incredible potential of overseas real estate.
Now I’m bringing together all my team’s firsthand knowledge—and launching a YouTube channel that dives into RETA’s scouting, key destinations, and how I spot opportunity before the crowd.
I’m calling it The Ronan McMahon Report.

Every destination I’ll feature is a place my team and I have scouted firsthand. In many of them, my team have years of collective on-the-ground experience. In quite a few, I personally own real estate.
Each episode will be a true deep dive…
I’ll share what makes that destination special—covering the geography, the infrastructure, the lifestyle, and what’s happening locally.
You’ll see real properties and real pricing, so you know exactly what it costs to own there. And I’ll break down rental potential—so you understand the kind of income the destination can deliver.
I’ll also share the local details you only get from being there…the cafés, restaurants, and attractions my team and I return to again and again when we have boots on the ground.
