Luxury European Farmhouses for Less Than a Typical Home in California

Owning land—like a small farm or even just some acreage—is fast becoming a popular choice for people who feel they want to break free from the pressures of modern urban life…or simply want a quiet retreat where they can spend some time when the hustle and bustle gets to be too much.

The very nature of owning some land means that you’re located away from, well… almost everything. Plus, with your own farm, you can even achieve a level of self-sufficiency by growing your own food.

Today, I wanted to show you some of the incredible farmhouses that are currently on the market around Europe.

But these aren’t your typical farm homes with some land…

The farmhouses I’m about to show you combine all the charm and rustic beauty of traditional farm living with incredible high-end comforts and amenities. These are luxury properties that come with swimming pools, vineyards, olive groves, wine cellars, and lots of land.

With luxury homes like these, you can enjoy the quiet beauty of a rural lifestyle without sacrificing any of the conveniences of modern living.

And although some of these listing have higher price tags that we’d normally feature here in Your Overseas Dream Home, you do get a lot of house and a lot of land for the price. (And most of them still cost less than the median sales price of a typical home in California, which is $731,667 according to Zillow.)
