Mega-Homes of the Ultra-Rich in Cabo

Cabo is one of the world’s foremost playgrounds of the rich and famous. A place where the super-wealthy happily pay millions and even tens of millions of dollars for real estate.

Today, I want to show you some listings of the insane, next-level homes in Cabo that draw the world’s wealthiest folks.

And I’m going to share the story of how Hollywood stars and their super-rich friends transformed Cabo from a tiny fishing village of 300 people into one of the world’s most desirable destinations.

But first…

In the 1940s, Los Cabos was a small fishing village. Then Hollywood arrived. Today, it’s world-renowned haven of the ultra-rich.

This week I’ve been telling you about the new Real Estate Trend Alert (RETA) members-only deal in Cabo.

RETA members will soon have the chance to own two-bed condos in a luxurious community with incredible ocean views and amazing amenities, and lock in what I expect will be gains of $175,400 four years after delivery.

My full briefing on this deal will be released to RETA members in just a few hours, at 1 p.m. ET. If you’re a RETA member, keep an eye on your inbox. (Not a RETA member? Learn how you can join here.)

Now, to Hollywood…

Tinseltown’s love affair with Cabo began with a starlet called Lucille Bremer. She danced on screen with Fred Astaire…made friends with the likes of Bing Crosby and Lucille Ball…and worked with the greats of MGM. Yet Hollywood wasn’t for her…

In 1948 she fell in love with, and married, a dashing entrepreneur, the son of a Mexican president who dreamed big about Baja. He built an airstrip and the first-ever resort in Los Cabos, Rancho las Cruces. And Bremer spread the word among her Hollywood friends about a place away from it all where you could snorkel and fish all day and sip cocktails without prying press.

The great and the good of Hollywood came in private planes, sometimes by boat. Los Cabos had begun its evolution into one of the world’s great escapes for the famous and their rich friends.

Hollywood had Cabo to itself for a long time. It wasn’t until 1977 that the international airport was opened. But in time, word got out about Los Cabos’ exclusive, hard-to-reach resorts. Its reputation as a jet-set locale firmly established.

Cabo has developed massively since, but Hollywood never fell out of love with this perfect-weather destination. Quite the opposite. Cabo is still a favorite among Hollywood’s biggest and brightest. Robert DeNiro, Leonardo DiCaprio, Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Lopez, George Clooney…the list of A-list celebrities who have visited and invested in Cabo is long.

The real estate market in Cabo has followed the jet-set lead. When you attract visitors on the level of George Clooney, you build second homes for that market. In Cabo, you’ll find homes for $5 million, but the biggest stuff goes for above double that—$10 million.

Here’s some examples of the kinds of mega homes you’ll find in Los Cabos and other nearby destinations in this region of Baja…

Cabo San Lucas
$7.2 million

First up is a home in Luz de Diamante. Located in the Diamante master-planned community, a short drive from my home in the Quivira Resort, this community is heaven for golf-lovers.

It’s nestled between the 5th and 16th holes of the Dunes Course, designed by Davis Love III. Residents here also have access to other world-class golf courses: El Cardonal, designed by Tiger Woods, and the upcoming Legacy Club.

If you’re not a golf-lover, there are plenty of other amenities for residents to enjoy here. There are 1.5 miles of stunning Pacific Ocean frontage, pristine beaches, a floating water park, food and beverage services, and a variety of other sporting facilities.

This six-bed, six-bath home in Luz de Diamante enjoys access to all these amenities as well as its own unique features. The estate has an impressive white façade and spacious driveway and garages to park for two cars and two golf carts.

Inside, the dining and living rooms have stunning ocean views as do the four master bedrooms and the games room. There’s also a putting green with synthetic grass and a detached casita, offering a fully self-contained apartment.

This estate is on the market for $7.2 million. See full details here.

Spanning almost 8,000 square feet, this vast six-bed home has an ocean-view pool. Listing here.

San Jose del Cabo
$9.5 million

Our next property is in San Jose del Cabo.

Los Cabos is made up of two cities, Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo.

Cabo San Lucas has the glitz and glamor. This is where you’ll find the world-class marina, the high-end malls, the luxury boutiques. San Jose del Cabo is charming, artistic, and bohemian, best known for its galleries, colonial architecture and cobblestoned streets. Despite their very different vibes, both are havens for the ultra-wealthy.

This five-bed, five-bath home is nestled in the prestigious community of Puerto Los Cabos in San Jose del Cabo. Spanning about 8,118 square feet, the home offers panoramic views of the glistening Sea of Cortez.

The living room is literally steps from the sand and the house has fully equipped kitchen, a living/dining area that opens out to the patio/pool area, making the most of those sea views, Outside you’ll also find an outdoor kitchen, firepit, and a small lawn.

This property is on the market for $9.5 million. See the full listing here.

Casa Cortez is an oceanfront home with stunning views of the Sea of Cortez. Listing here.

El Pescadero
$7.3 million

How about a taste of Greece on the Baja coast?

Located in the village of El Pescadero, just north of Cabo San Lucas on the Pacific coast of the Baja peninsula, the seven-bed, seven-bath Villa Santorini was modeled on Santorini Palace, the luxury hotel on the island of Santorini, Greece, known for its breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea and its iconic Cycladic architecture.

Villa Santorini has a bright Greek aesthetic…and the beach just beyond its gate. Listing here.

Spanning 14,500 square feet, the oceanfront villa has four master bedrooms, two large casitas, caretakers’ quarters, two swimming pools (including an infinity pool), a large hot tub, and an outdoor bathroom. The beach views here are stunning…

This expansive villa is on the market for $7.3 million. Check out the full listing here.

Todos Santos
$8.98 million

Known for its bohemian vibe, vibrant arts scene, and laidback atmosphere, Todos Santos is a charming coastal town about an hour’s drive north of Cabo San Lucas. It boasts cobblestone streets, historic colonial architecture, and a thriving cultural community. Surrounded by lush palm groves and desert landscapes, Todos Santos is a haven for surfers, food lovers, and art enthusiasts.

This two-bed, two-bath house is a five-minute drive from downtown Todos Santos. Located on the beach, it comes with about 1,861 square feet of living space. The interior features cathedral beamed ceilings and the second-story deck looks out on a large lap pool and the Pacific Ocean.

This house on the beach is a five-minute drive from downtown Todos Santos. Listing here.

This is the type of house you could have built for very little—lot included—30 years ago. Its current valuation is a sign of the crazy prices you’ll see in this part of the Baja peninsula.

To put this in a rental context, this is the type of home I’d have rented on Airbnb some years back for $400 a night. Now you can’t find them to rent at any price…and the boutique hotels nearby can easily cost $1,000 per night.

This property is on the market for $8.98 million. See the full details here.

Cabo San Lucas
$15.2 million

Finally, we come to the most expensive (and awe-inspiring) property my team found…

Located in the Pedregal area of Cabo San Lucas, Casa Encantada is an eight-bed, eight-bath estate that can safely be described as a mansion.

Spanning 1.15 acres, it’s perched on a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. You’re never far from a window in Casa Encantada and the panoramic views mean you’ll miss nothing that’s happening in the nearby waters.

Casa Encantada is a sprawling mansion and an epitome of the kind of ultra-luxurious living you’ll find in Cabo. Listing here.

The foyer boasts a soaring ceiling and twin staircases. There are places for fine dining both inside and out, plus a pool and plenty of deck space where you and your guests can soak up the view…

The price for this mansion? A cool $15.2 million. Check out the full listing here.

Of course, you don’t have to spend millions of dollars to live the luxury Cabo lifestyle…and that’s especially true if you’re a RETA member.

As I say, I’m about to bring my RETA group an incredible off-market opportunity to own in Cabo. With this exclusive deal, members will have the chance to own luxurious, two-bed ocean-view condos in a true, best-in-class community for unbelievable pricing.

The planned amenities in this community are out-of-this world. Premium land is devoted to things like an ocean-view sky pool…a state-of-the-art ocean-view gym…an ocean-view co-work space…

And the location is incredible…close to the beaches, the art, the dining, the stores.

My team and I dug around listings in nice communities close by this opportunity. We found two-bed condos with ocean views, broadly the same size, were listing from $425,000 right up to $497,000!

Yet, due to the incredible connections and group-buying power of RETA, the members-only price for these luxury two-bed-two-bath condos is from just $304,600 for a spacious two-bed, two-bath condo with fantastic ocean views.

With this new deal, I expect gains of $175,400 just four years after delivery.

And that’s likely being very conservative. Just look at our RETA track record in Cabo…

The RETA track record in Cabo is spectacular. For instance, in two deals members have seen uplifts of $185,000 and $250,000 in less than four years, both on the same hill as the upcoming opportunity where I expect similar six-figure gains.

This new Cabo deal is for RETA members only. If you’ve yet to join, you can do so here, and ensure you get all the details of this incredible upcoming deal and be in line to own one of these incredible two-bed, two-bath ocean-view condos when the deal opens next week.

P.S. When I say the amenities will be out of this world, that’s exactly what I mean. Check out this render…

This is the planned sky pool in the community. The amenities have stunning ocean views. Prices for anything even broadly comparable to these condos in Cabo start way above what RETA members will pay. (Renders give us a great idea of what’s planned but shouldn’t be considered final.)

P.P.S. If you’re interested in any of the luxury listings you should hire an attorney and do your own due diligence. We haven’t done any due diligence on them.
