This traditional Japanese Minka home is located just a seven-minute walk from the beach.
The first floor has a Japanese-style room with decorative transoms and sliding paper doors. There’s also a kitchen/dining room, two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a balcony.
It is situated 60-70 minutes by train from Tokyo Station and one hour by car from Narita International Airport.
The home is in Chiba Prefecture, east of Tokyo, along the Pacific coast of Japan.
One of the main draws of Chiba is its extensive coastline and picturesque beaches. Beyond its coastal attractions, Chiba is home to several historic and cultural sites. Visitors can explore the Naritasan Shinshoji Temple, a Buddhist temple that dates to the 7th century, or visit the Sawara Retro Town, a beautifully preserved from the Edo period.
Chiba has an array of landscapes, including rolling hills and verdant forests, as well as the scenic Lake Inba, known for birdwatching and nature photography.
