VIDEO: What Your Money Buys in Northern Portugal

Portugal’s Algarve coast has long drawn visitors from around the world. But there’s a quieter region that international buyers are only discovering.

Head north from Porto, Portugal’s second-largest city, and you’ll find vast Atlantic beaches, medieval towns, and river estuaries opening into the ocean. Just inland are mountains, pine forests, and rolling vineyards.

Every time I return, this region feels a little more discovered. But your money still stretches a long way here.

I first scouted the region three years ago and have been writing about it ever since. Two years ago, my wife, Sayuri, and I bought a historic villa overlooking the river that divides Portugal and Spain. And it cost just $90 per square foot! Now prices are rising.

In the latest episode of The Ronan McMahon Report, I show you what you can buy in northern Portugal at three very different price points…

From a fixer-upper with river views just outside a historic town…to a seven-bed villa with an indoor pool and tennis court near the coast…to a restored country estate on nearly 11 acres, surrounded by woodland…

I’ll also show you the home we bought—what we paid, how we financed it, and what our monthly mortgage repayment looks like.

Wishing you good real estate investing,

P.S. On Thursday, I’ll share a tour of my historic villa. Don’t forget to subscribe to The Ronan McMahon Report so you don’t miss this or any other episode.
