Twenty years ago, my friend, developer Alfredo Aleman, made one of the boldest real estate predictions I’ve ever heard. Back then, Panama City was still a regional backwater. The idea of building man-made islands in the Bay of Panama seemed outrageous. But Alfredo could see where Panama was going.
He mapped out the city’s growth. He identified the beaches that would one day become world-class communities. And he built Ocean Reef—a man-made island community that’s the most prestigious in the entire region.
